Jayson Stewart is a 48 year old actor living in Northern Ontario, Canada with his wife, five kids, two dogs, a gerbil, and a fish.
Born in the Toronto area in 1975, Jayson has enjoyed playing a variety of characters on the large and small screen, from police detectives (The Pasta Killer), serial killers (Black Forest), to mob bosses (14 Keys), grave diggers (Cannibal House), and mad scientists (Veracitum). With that lineup of ne'er-do-well characters, it's surprising that, in real life, he ISN'T evil.
A versatile actor, Jayson is represented by Shawn Jackett of Quintia Talent.
When Jayson is not acting, he is directing, writing screenplays, producing short films, building props, auditioning talent, gathering crews, and working to further develop the film community in Northern Ontario.
Jayson has directed three short films including REZilience and The Philanthropist (both of which he also wrote) and directed Overdue (written by the late Marla J. Hayes). He is currently working on the screenplays for a supernatural ecological revenge thriller as well as an abandoned building siege adventure.
Jayson has also helped other film makers develop their projects including The Lesser Blessed, Cannibal House, and Black Forest and acted in Black Forest, 14 Keys, Veracitum, Cannibal House, and the Pasta Killer.
Jayson is a co-moderator of the Facebook Group "Northern Ontario Talent for Film", one of the key resources for film makers and actors working in Northern Ontario.
